"Cherry" is what I'm holding in my hand. A fresh-red, little larger than those on-cake-cherries, and smell nice too! Thanks to my colleague that I've another chance to change my mind on disliking this wonderful fruit that I once despise.
Known for its antioxidants, anti-inflammation elements, and diet benefits, I always wanted to eat one. But hated it forever once I ever tasted it, those on birthday cakes of course. The cheap, bloody-red cherry that was so attractive once before, tasted diabetic, and sick...*piuh*...how can anyone swallow such awfully tasting fruit?! Since then, I never turn my head towards that disgusting flesh again.
But today, with little hesitation, a hungry stomach, and a tea-break period, i took a bite off the "once-upon-a-time-detested-red-flesh-fruit". And guess what? It tasted grapy, peachy (according to another colleague), and fleshy! Thanks to those cheap variety of cherries once before, I was unable to savor this heavenly fruit. Now thanks to my awesome colleague, I get to know it once again...
Owh, now maybe I'm more interested in knowing how to tie a cherry's stem with my tongue!
*giggles*
