But as we grow, and with internet nowadays, we see photos, quotes, and stories from people who describe how wonderful the rain is, and to be under the rain itself, doing different things. And those are just tempting us to do so too! (Of course, I've my share of being under the rain, bad and good ones, and thunderstorms are definitely not a good one!)
Halfway through my bootcamp workout this morning, as if the sky knows we need some rain to clear off the mud on our body, and especially me who is particular about cleanliness, it gave us a drizzle, a heavy-drizzle that is, not heavy to really clean us off, but just nice to cool us down and kept us energetic!
Someone shouted, "Who turned on the shower?!"
Few minutes later, the same person shouted, "Who the heck turned off the showed?!"
Owh crap, such a short-lived moment, back to getting muddy.
The hardest thing in a bootcamp is not the workout, cause it's definitely not as intense as cleaning those sets of muddy clothes and shoes after those sessions!
Another 5 minutes later, it's a DOWNPOUR!!!
Ok, so the drizzle was a warm-up, and it's as if the sky had installed itself a water-pressure-unit! Free massage and clean shower for everyone! For the next 20 minutes workout, we had total fun in the rain doing our partner-tap-sprints and stationary workouts of straight-leg sit-ups, thrusters, starter jump, etc. I lost counts of those reps, as it's too much including those for punishments! But the great thing is, I just did it and pushed myself. And it was AWESOME to workout in the rain! It refreshed my energy and it's as though I have unlimited storage of it!
That's my team's Sergeant Nawal and Corporal Ris in Red
The whole team (well, not whole since there're some who're absent) of AP-Alpha in the rain!
My sifu in there beside me, he did a great job surviving through the bootcamp!
And lastly, me with my macho look! XD
AWESOME!
